Good morning and welcome back to another edition of The Mulligan! 

Highlights

What a Past 13 Months It's Been

It's hard to believe that it's been just over a year since Links launched last January on New Year's Day. What was once a small idea floated out on Twitter by Mike Dudas has quickly turned into an innovative golf brand that's reimagining what membership looks like for the modern golfer. Before we fill you in on the latest developments, we thought it'd be fitting to reflect on what Links has accomplished over the last 406 days:

• Hosted 125 Genesis members at our kickoff event alongside SXSW in Austin, Texas

• Grew our membership base to 48 out of the 50 U.S. states and 40 countries around the world

• Forged relationships across the golf ecosystem, including a majority of the top 25 architects in the world, golf's governing bodies (USGA, R&A, PGA Tour) and more than 24 top-notch brands

• Partnered with Endeavor Agency to lead our industry engagement efforts

• Signed with KemperSports, operator of the famed Bandon Dunes golf resort, to assist us in our course acquisition process

• Hired 8 full-time team members and onboarded more than 60 community contributors

• Launched a member-to-member private course reciprocity program

• Developed the home base for all things Links, our Clubhouse, as well as a comprehensive Pro Shop

Private Course Experience Program

One of the most important pieces of our mission here at Links is to provide our members with access to world-renowned courses that the average golfer could only dream of playing. As we move forward in 2023 we will be curating once-in-a-lifetime golf outings for Links members across the United States. In case you missed the announcement at the beginning of February, our first cohort of private course experiences includes:

• May 5th - Somerset Hills Country Club (#26 in U.S.)

• May 15th - Ridgewood Country Club (#74 in U.S.)

• June 26th - Plainfield Country Club (#69 in U.S.)

• July 24th - Quaker Ridge Golf Club (#47 in U.S.)

• August 7th - Bayonne Golf Club (#10 in N.J.)

• September 25th - Baltimore Country Club (#65 in U.S.)

The Global Golf Association

In addition to the one-of-a-kind course access program detailed above, the team has been hard at work developing the Links Play experience. This is where you will now find one of our signature benefits... The Global Golf Association, our member-to-member private club reciprocity platform.

Since we last touched base The GGA has nearly doubled in size. Today Global members can connect with over 60 hosts at 55 golf clubs across 24 states and 5 countries. If you're a Global holder and would like to participate as a guest or host in The GGA, head over to the Clubhouse and complete your profile. Once your profile is completed, stop by the members-only GGA channel in our Discord to connect with the team.

IMG Prestige

When scrolling through the spectacular courses that The GGA has to offer you will also notice courses tagged with an IMG designation. What is IMG?

A network of more than 200 world-class golf courses that Links partnered with in August of 2022. Links members have the ability to book preferred, often discounted tee times at a majority of IMG's portfolio including The Ocean Course at Hokuala, the breathtaking course pictured above.

Links Events

In conjunction with our private course experience program and The GGA we're also focused on bringing Links members together to play more golf in 2023. The Links Play platform will do just that with...

• Groups: Join your area's Telegram group to connect with local members

• Events: Five Iron Simulator Leagues in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia, LinkUps and Gaming Tournaments

• Links Leagues: Our first members-only competition series launching this week. This limited-scope pilot will include 3 flavors of golf, Green Grass (on-course), Simulator and PGA Tour 2k23. Members will be able to compete against other members no matter where they are or what type of golf they play!

Course Acquisition Updates

When can Genesis members expect to be playing golf on the inaugural Links course? Join our CEO Jim Daily, CFO Chris Bruce and Head of Course Acquisition Adam Besvinick on February 16th at 7:30pm EST in our Discord to hear about a number of exciting new developments made over the past 3 months.
